A place to…Believe, Belong, and Become
Mission Eden
Fidget Quilt Team
Good afternoon! For Mission Eden, one group will be making fidget lap quilts for residents in the Alzheimer’s Unit at Concho Health and Rehab. We will meet on Monday, June 29th at 9 AM in the fellowship to begin our project. We will pool our supplies and create multiple lap quilts ~ similar to an old-fashioned sewing circle. If you have any of the following supplies, please bring them with you on Monday.
Portable sewing machine
Colorful/Coordinating Fabric- different prints and textures are ideal
Ribbon- grosgrain or satin
Thread
Seam binding
Iron
Ironing board
Felt
Buttons of all shapes and sizes
Beads
Zippers
Any tactile item that can be affixed to a quilt
Quilt batting
Fabric scissors
Pins
Rotary cutter and mat
Cutting board
Hem gauge
Even if you don’t sew or don’t have a machine, come join us. There will be plenty to do. If you have some of the above supplies, but can’t be there on Monday, you may leave them in the fellowship hall on Sunday. I will put a sign on a table where they can be left.
